What is Humility? Humility can be defined as being meek, lowly and the absence of self. It is also the opposite of pride and arrogance. Humility is stems from self-control and selflessness.
It is amazing to know that humility (meekness) is one of the fruit of the Spirit. It is also a way we know we are allowing the Spirit of GOD work in us into His Christ-like nature.
In the mouth of two or more the truth is established, so we will take 1 Sam 2:8 James 4: 6 and 10 1 Peter 5:
JESUS is our perfect example. We need to learn from Him. All His working, miracles, words and successes, He acknowledges the Spirit of GOD and the Father for them all. No matter how little or great.
James 4:16-17 teaches that being able to fulfil any planned goal We must also learn to honour all men. Those greater than us, those equal and those lower than us. We have received His grace.
Humility is not just respecting people or honouring GOD directly but also indirectly too.
Do you lose faith when you fail? Do you feel dejected because you planned something and couldn’t get? By strength shall no man prevail friends. We must learn not to give up. Trust in the LORD’S strength, wisdom and His Spirit not yours. If you do fail, straighten those knees, rejoice, persevere, stay focused and He will lift you up. Hebrews 12:2
Reward of Humility Matthew 5: we shall inherit the earth because the earth’s is LORD and the fullness thereof. We live in the earth and as much as we are citizens of heaven, we are also ambassadors of GOD on earth. We don’t only preach the Word of GOD we believe in words but also in deeds, in character. Many people of GOD in the Bible and in our days were and are able to achieve great things not just with strength or by being smart but because of their full dependence on GOD. We must acknowledge that we need GOD in our heart, mind and head. That is also being humble because it is GOD that shows us mercy. We will definitely see him come through.
Another insightful scripture in the word of GOD is
Proverbs 15:33 Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the LORD, and humility comes before honor.
Proverbs 22:4 Humility is the fear of the LORD; its wages are riches and honor and life.
An instruction from Wisdom is to be Humble. Being humble is an act that shows you dear (honour) GOD. The reward for being humble is riches, honour and life which according to the Book of Proverbs is the reward also for obtaining Wisdom.
Apostle Paul’s prayer usually ends with the grace of JESUS upon the church. Hidden in the message is His constant reminder for us to humble ourselves before GOD at all things. Come boldly before the throne of Grace but come acknowledging the LORD who grants us such privilege. GOD wants all to be saved but no all are yet. Grace found you! Humility is key to unlimited grace.
Stay humble, keep being lifted. The proud are ultimately brought low.
Isaiah 1:18-19 ‘ Come let us reason together, says the LORD. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow, though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land.

As men grow older, we grow more closely to the day we take our last breath and farther from our birth. Unlike trees that gets second, third, and even multiple chances to rejuvenate after being cut down, it is not so for humans. Usually only GOD sustains a man and dead men come back to life on the account of the mercies and miracles of GOD.
A sinner doesn’t get his chance of rebirth, nor grows back strong and flourishing if he refuses repentance. This is because he or she becomes more terrible than a dry scourged tree. He is nowhere near the living spring or river. Hence, his root does fail him. JESUS is the living water; the ever-flowing spring of life. We need Him and He is ever willing to keep us blooming and fruitful.
As written in the book of Psalms 1:1, which speaks and likens men who trust and abide in JESUS to be as trees planted by the river side. Men who abide by JESUS are blessed and secured even in the toughest drought and frosty chills. Our LORD is our Hope, our Help and our Sustenance. He is the well that never runs dry; the River of living waters, LORD All-Sufficient, and LORD Most High. We know you and I am loved by Him.
Don’t die a thirsty sinner! Don’t die a lone-grieving soul! Let the LORD quench your thirst with sweet water for He did turn the water of Mara (bitter water) sweet.
Tomorrow might be too late! Repent today, be revived too. You might have been hurt but you need to let go! We are drawing closer than we are moving farther. Aren’t you tired of the thirst and weariness? Come to JESUS! He is running to you too with arms wide open. He makes even the darkest and scariest crimson white.
John 8:13-14 ‘So, the Pharisees said to Him, “You are bearing witness about yourself (but He bore witness of Himself because He is the LORD); Your testimony is not true.” JESUS answered, “Even if I do bear witness about Myself, My testimony is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going, but you do not know where I come from or where I am going.’

Holy Spirit said to me (which I believe He wants you to answer to) “You know where you come from but where are you going?”
Me: To Heaven.

Holy Spirit: You can not come to Heaven without fulfilling purpose. All who have called my friend (Immediately, I had a mental picture of Moses, David, Abraham, Joshua the High Priest), now in Heaven were received because they fulfilled PURPOSE.
JESUS said I know where I came from – but why did I come from there? I could have stayed back if all I needed to do was to just walk the earth and return. Was my main reason simply to come and go back to heaven?
He came to establish a new covenant on earth and save mankind; the ultimate desire and will of the Father that all men be saved and come into an intimate, never ending fellowship with Him, He had more than just to die and return afterwards. Even in the between the transition between His death and Resurrection, He dismantle the powers and authorities of the devil, hades, grave and death setting the devil forever in his continuous move towards his day of damnation.
Where are you going child? It is not just heaven. Fulfilling GOD’s divine will for our lives is being in Heaven [Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven – Luke 11:2]. And finally, when the time does come, after fulfilling all and being empty of all earthly embedded gifting and treasures (treasures are potentials, talents and abilities residing in your that you must discover some you may not even know are there) and being filled with fullness of Heaven and Christ’s Spirit. If it is by Chariots of fire, or whirlwind, or laid to rest in the peace of the LORD, our humble souls shall see the face of the LORD in glory but not without fulfilling His will and completing that which have sent to do.
You are very important, too important even if you don’t believe it. Even if you don’t get to travel the whole world preaching the gospel like evangelists, the little spot you hold is very important to GOD. Like Mary whose main purpose was to raise Christ, Elizabeth scorned bore John the Baptist in old age (he is seen as one of the greatest prophets of old), Samson’s parent and other parents of old and now. Many which were not mentioned more than once but without their involvement, they would have crippled the plans of GOD. The boy with the loaves of bread and fishes which he gave to JESUS, though we don’t know his name but will forever be remembered. His giving was instrumental to us seeing a dimension of GOD we had not known. The adulterous wife of Hosea who later changed, her lifestyle GOD used to demonstrated Israel’s relationship and attitude towards Him. Ananias, the person GOD used to commence Paul’s ministry. Paul did exploit in the Kingdom with the comforting hands of Barnabas.
Child, you are important! You may not understand your role yet. It might not look like it is necessary but without you, the purposes of GOD could be thwarted. The LORD sees the ‘small’ you in a different and greater light than you see yourself. You can do it! He chose you because He knows you can and He will help fulfill all He has spoken over and inscribed within the scrolls concerning you.
You are not your own the bible tells us. The grace we have each received should not be compared among ourselves. The bible says it is foolish to do so. We have different roles in the kingdom. Not everyone will be pioneers of kingdom movement but no matter the eye dares not say to the heart I don’t need you. Everyone sees the eyes, the lips and the outer ward organs but the not more important than the organs we can’t see or access and speak about. We all have received grace, the bible says, according the measure of His gift in us.
These gifts are not for keeping or storing away. They are for our using: to the family next door, the haggard man in the corner of the street, the proud friend who will not stretch his hand though he needs help (don’t lose him! Stretch yours, he will thank you afterwards no matter how much he resists), to anyone and everyone.
I want to be able to be able to stand before the Father of Light, the LORD of Host, the King of Glory and humbly say ‘Thank You Abba and Lord King JESUS! Holy Spirit kept all the way and has led me here. I greet You in the name of JESUS Christ, My LORD.
I have seen many things in time past and heard of such wondrous events. Much beyond words can truly express. I am more than delighted to let you know many of such things are true and not just fables. It is true that those things may look unreal but many times, over again He had done them not once, not twice, not even thrice but much more than we can count.
Many times, GOD is more than willing to do exceedingly and above all that we think and ask. But friends, we hinder that.
Still what do we say to these? He is the GOD of awesome wonders; to many to count, to great to explain, to unique to replicate in human form. I am talking about the works of GOD. How great is our God, my friend. So great, languages of various kinds are not enough to express it.
I give you a tea to drink yet it feels like you are having something sweeter than honey. I give oil to rub yet it feels you are enveloped in a gentle aura. Absurd, yet intentional. Lovingly embraced in the arms that overwhelms you. Really, you can’t deny the love you feel. It is like something you have never experienced.
This, my friend, is the love of GOD our Father.
A heart to heart talk. Someone has got to understand your true intentions, what you really mean, even if it be difficult to put in words. But the word comes out, you hear a voice speak. It’s not one you can see, but it will be if your eyes be opened. But then again these eyes are opened. I don’t see a man or woman around me but I audibly hear His voice.
This also my friend is the voice of GOD; by the Spirit of GOD.
I thank the Spirit of the LORD for His marvellous work in me. One which He can replicate even greater in another if He is allowed by such individuals to do so.
Always trying to do things in the appropriate way rather than in GOD’s way.
The Holy Spirit teaches me these:
Not all that is right is good for you. GOD’s way is the right and good way for your life.
The things you think are the most important, may be the least important and what you think is least important, is most important. Let GOD show you what and how!
Patience is the key. If it is GOD’s, it will not tarry though it ‘seems like it’ tarries.
Rivers of living water is already in you. Just let it flow!
He did it before, He will do greater this time.
When it looked like it was over, He showed up great and made a way. So even if it is over now, He will do what He does best…. Make a larger way!
No need crying over spilled milk, He will just give a carton, packs of carton in fact. Too much to finish and definitely an amazing taste you can’t find any where else. He made all things.
My LORD is not just the GOD of Possibilities… Too small. HE IS THE GOD OF CERTAINTY!!!
When I get tired of the way I am or how I look and my faults, my head raises back up and with a broad smile I remember JESUS still loves me more than I love my own self.
Satan has no hold on me. JESUS gave me this life I now live. So I owe it all to Him.
I am soaring on the Wings of the KING of kings, even I can’t pull myself down.
I have got my Papa’s eyes. He helps me see as He sees.
And though it is not easy, JESUS makes everything easy.
JESUS loves me, yes I know and HE loves you too.

Inwardly, the Samaritan woman desired to serve GOD rightly. She could have asked about the right husband for her but she perceived Him to be a prophet and quickly wanted to use the opportunity to clear her doubts as to how and where the right place of worship.JESUS asked her about the husbands because that was her greatest scorn; her ridicule and thorn in the flesh. Can imagine how many people who have scorned and belittled her for her lifestyle. Maybe you are even in a similar situation, being scorned and looked down on by others? He was determined to bring her out of it and give her a new life but He knew she couldn’t be transformed without having to drink from the Living water. Have you and are you drinking from Living Water?
But you know, inspire of her faults and weaknesses, there was something GOD saw and knew that no one else couldn’t. Her in-depth desire to seek and know the truth, and that truth did make her free.
In John 2:8-9 and John 4:7-8, for both cases, JESUS asked the men(servants) and the Samaritan woman to draw Him water.
John 2:7-9 “Jesus said to them, Fill the waterpots with water. So they filled them up to the brim. Then He said to them, Draw some out now and take it to the manager of the feast [to the one presiding, the superintendent of the banquet]. So they took him some. And when the manager tasted the water just now turned into wine, not knowing where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—he called the bridegroom.” The Amplified Bible John 4:7-9 “Presently, when a woman of Samaria came along to draw water, Jesus said to her, Give Me a drink—For His disciples had gone off into the town to buy food—The Samaritan woman said to Him, How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan [and a] woman, for a drink?—For the Jews have nothing to do with the Samaritans.” The Amplified Bible
Both were in need of a miracle, a change and could have refused to perform the task. We can see in both cases that the Bible didn’t tell us that He immediately drank or even drank from them but there is a lesson strong to learn:
GOD tells us to do some things that might look inconvenient, inappropriate during our dire situations/circumstances to give us a testimony in our deepest need. Hence, thing we do are not actually for Him but eventually for us.
The need most important at the wedding feast at Cana was the wine to avoid embarrassment and for the Samaritan woman was a changed life even if she didn’t know it. Either it is something for a short while like the wine provided at the wedding feast at Cana which would still finish after the wedding but go on to be the talk of the town for long while as the best wine ever served,
John 2:10 “And [the manager] said to him [the bridegroom] Everyone else serves his best wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then he serves that which is not so good; but you have kept back the good wine until now!” The Amplified Bible
Or a lifetime, as the life of the Samaritan woman who could have been scorned and mocked by the town for having been with five (5) husbands (only GOD knew the cause of her issue), the fact is:
GOD is truly more than able to turn every situation around for our good. None is irrelevant or unimportant to Him for He is the GOD who sees, He cares.
If they are our needs, then He is ready and willing to meet them.
Philippians 4:19 “And my GOD shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ JESUS.” The Gideons International Bible
But we must remember that the ultimate goal is not just to have our needs met but to know Him and serve Him truly as He desires us to; and that is in Spirit and in Truth, drinking for His living water.
John 4:23-24 “But the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. (*Would you be among, child?) “GOD is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.” The Gideons International Bible
Let always ask the Holy Spirit joyfully_ just call His name_ do so without restraints or doubt. He helps us continually abide in His Holy place and study the Word of GOD even as we grow in intimacy (friendship) with Him. Even if we do sin, GOD never sends us out of His presence. It is usually we who without understanding walk out or hid out of His presence.
Genesis 3:8 “And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.” The Amplified Bible Genesis 4:16 “So Cain went away from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod [wandering], east of Eden.” The Amplified Bible Hebrews 13:5b “for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]” The Amplified Bible
Our Father is truly loving so don’t walk out or hid out by yourself. If you sin, just honestly admit, immediately ask for forgiveness and continue your communion with the Holy Spirit. GOD knows you are human and that is why Papa (Holy Spirit) is here so that He can help all to be who we are meant to be in Christ and stronger each day in Him rather than continually falling short. You were never made to stand alone without Him so come back home. He is always waiting, waiting, waiting. Come drink living water forever.

Everyone has a test to pass, a barricade to overcome. It doesn’t have to always be spiritual but it is as known “Life is spiritual.” Yes, life itself is spiritual. Just because we walk physically, eat, sleep, drink doesn’t make it all just a physical thing.
Life is spiritual! Connecting with people, networking, finding a reason so deep yet unknown to like or dislike a people for the first time without talking or knowing them.
Mark 11:3-4 “And He said to them, “Go into the village opposite you; and as soon as you have entered it you will find a copy tied, on which no one has sat. Loose it and bring it *for he will release it to you because he has been ordained in the spirit to give it to me*. And if anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘ The LORD has need of it.’ and immediately he will send it here.” The Gideons International Bible * added emphasis
To fulfill the calling of GOD in our lives, we have to have an understanding of our purpose. This purpose implore us to seek what we need at each step without fear of resistance in order to move to the next level to fulfilling our destiny.
1. Intimate Relationship with GOD: Friends, as I myself walk through the test of faith, one thing that keeps me from frustration or constant worrying is my friendship with the Holy Spirit.
To say the truth, at a first you might want to say faith but I want to tell you that my Friend, Holy Spirit is the one who helps me to keep faith! He encourages me. You see faith is easy to let to go of, and much easier to waiver from without the Holy Spirit as your closest friend. It’s true.
This morning, a remarkable thing happened. I actually thought I had left my phone singing songs all through the night. It was so loud in my ears. I told myself my phone battery would definitely have been drained by now. It was so loud I wanted to so badly turn it off. But to my greatest surprise as I struggled to open my eyes and find my phone, I discovered my phone wasn’t the one singing. Then the song continue longer in my heart. Before it was as if someone had placed an MP by my ears. The song was “Faith by J. Moss”. I hadn’t heard that song in a very, very, very long while. So hearing with J. Moss’ voice, I just had to believe it was his.
Holy Spirit, my Papa, had sent His word to me today through that song. To walk, live, eat and sleep by faith and not be afraid or moved. All I needed was faith in Him.
So you see, I continue to hold on to faith not because I am so strong to have faith but because He helps me keep up faith. Thank You Papa. I love You!
This also taught me a lesson. Things and people you listen to are very important to make or mar your destiny. That song was used to strengthen me. The devil can also bring up wrong songs and friends you listen to, to affect you negatively. Be wise!
2. Knowing GOD’s Will for your life The truth about this is that you can not know it all. But the LORD is faithful to give you that which you need to walk and work with. Imagine your whole life ahead of displayed in front of you.
As nice as it may seem, you wouldn’t get the fun of going through life with much expectations anymore. Nor would give the necessary thanksgiving to GOD, you’ll just say, ‘Yes, yes, that’s what He showed me already’ or ‘if I tried this rather than what He showed me, let see what will happen’.
I love the fact that GOD gives us a glimpse to those who seek Him to know His will. It just always rightly enough to stir up our spirit to do all we can to fulfill the goal. And as we go forward, He continues to unveil what, where and how next to go.
If you feel like you are still stuck in a level for to long, it may be because of some reasons: i. You haven’t asked the LORD to reveal to you the source of your stagnancy and the solution out of it. When He does, faithfully obey. Don’t question what He showed you! Sometimes, it may be hard to believe but we just got to trust Him and know that He isn’t a liar.
1 Timothy 2:3-4 “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of GOD our Saviour. Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” The Gideons International Bible
ii. You haven’t done as the LORD revealed at all or well enough to move forward. Just like you have to get a minimum score to Elementary school to enter Junior school. Same goes, GOD loves us to well and wants to ensure that we reach the goal complete and without defects.
Heb.12:11 “Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterwards it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those that have been trained by it.” The Gideons International Bible
iii. Spiritual forces
Ephesians 6:12 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the ruler of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” The Gideons International Bible
The Bible tells us that JESUS has been given a name that is above all and every other name in the heavens, earth and below the earth (this includes the seas).
Daniel 10:12-13 “Then he continued, “Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.” NIV Bible
This confirms to us then that there is a spirit of delay. There are also spirits of failure, confusion, distraction. The Bible indicates to us there is a spirit of fear. Hence, there must be a spirit of distraction, procastination and doubt.
JESUS, in the Bible and even now, commands us to cast out these devils and resist them in His name. But He also tell us that to maintain this deliverance we must submit all our will including our thoughts, acts and words to GOD. All pointers that the devil may want to use a device against us; to contradict ourselves.
James 4:7-8 “Therefore submit to GOD. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to GOD and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” The Gideons International Bible
Wearing the whole armour of GOD, identifying and subduing the spiritual force, and submitting to GOD further emphasizes the need for us to develop and retain an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit of GOD.
You see friends, a lamp without oil is insignificant.
Psalms 119:105 “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light my path.” The Gideons International Bible
What makes the lamp give light to the path – the Oil. This Oil is the Holy Spirit. The Lamp is the Word of GOD. The Oil made the lamp fulfill its function. JESUS says:
John 16:13 “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.” NIV Bible
He has been given the authority and fullness from our Father to help us and guide us all the way. He is one with GOD, not greater not lesser but Equal with our Father. He is the Spirit of our Father and the Spirit of King JESUS. All hail our LORD!
2 Corinthians 3:17 “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” NIV Bible
The target we implore this week is to: 1. Develop your relationship with Holy Spirit as you would with a friend. They say there aren’t any silly questions. So you can ask how He is, how is His doing? What He will like to do, to join you as you eat, watch a movie together, greet Him different hours of the day, ask to go out with you _ just you would a true friend.
You see GOD desires deeper relationship with us than He is up and we are down. Papa came down to be with us at the request of our Father and it isn’t nice to push Him away or neglect Him. He is going to be with us now and forever even if we believe or not. I just love Him. Faithful to the end!
2. Reconcile your relationship with Papa. If you have neglected or just not really care about Him over the past few days, months or even years. He still loves you. Always has, always will. Come back home child! Dine together again. You can’t do anything without Him.
1 John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” NIV Bible
3. Write down 3 significant dreams even if they don’t make seem that you get this week.
4. Work on the plans and assignments GOD has given you in the past. Open up old notes, diaries not for the pain of the past but to give insight to the future. You can never tell what you must have missed. Smile that you have overcome! Also, work on new ones He gives you now! Greater heights, friends!
5. Stay on the word but don’t do it without calling the Holy Spirit, our Papa for guidance.
6. Identify hindrances you have noticed that affect you and ask Holy Spirit to lead youin prayer against them. Important: don’t pray on your own. Ask Holy Spirit to help you first then V.I.C.T.O.R.Y.
7. Show the love of GOD this week by making sure to help at least one person it could be an elderly one, child, teenage, just anybody no matter how little.
One of the wondrous gifts of the Holy Spirit made known to us by the Holy Spirit through Apostle Paul is the Diversity of Tongues. This is an amazing gift that really explains to us GOD’s use of the power of our tongue and establishes GOD’s awesome power and tremendous ability which He manifested during the time of people building the Tower of Babel.
1 Corinthians 12:8-12 “ :For to one is given through the Spirit the utterance of wisdom, and to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills. For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.” ESV Bible
Genesis 11:6-7 “and he said, ‘Now then, these are all one people and they speak one language; this is just the beginning of what they are going to do. Soon they will be able to do anything they want! Let us go down and mix up their language so that they will not understand each other.” GNT Bible
Believers who have received the Holy Spirit of GOD, baptised in the Holy Spirit(empowered) and allowed themselves to speak in tongues would have at one time knowingly or unknowingly spoken a different earthly language that is not of his/her original language during the cause of praying in the Holy Ghost.
Note that praying in the Holy Ghost and speaking in different languages (tongues) is different.
The former speaks in words that are not understood by man or angels. It is directly channeled to the Father, even the devil and his cohorts do not understand this language. Praying in tongues or shall we say praying in the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost) can be done for intercession, revelation (GOD reveals mysteries and truth through dreams, visions, trances as He deems best fit to you), supplication (raising up a personal need, asking for a supply), thanksgiving and worship, edification (growing spiritual by means of praying in the spirit. You become empowered in the spirit and portals and realms are opened up to you. Your spiritual eyes is open to see, ears, nose are open and you can growing into different dimensions of the spirit and possess greater understanding of the word of GOD).
The prayer of Edification by the Spirit should be every Christian major focus because it makes making intercessions much easier and getting a better and quicker result, revelations and the rest really fulfilling. GOD desires all His children to grow and this is one of the ways it will be accomplished: Praying in the Holy Spirit. Hence you can say praying in the Holy Spirit, though may be used to intercede for others, is mainly directed to one’s personal relationship with GOD and his/her development in the Spirit. And why not?
Matthew 7:4 “Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye?” ESV Bible
During my prayers, a few times while praying, I have suddenly heard a voice speak “say it in English, I can not understand what you are saying. Say it in English so I can understand”. At those points, I smile. Still letting Holy Spirit pray for me in the Heavenly language, I know the devil is confused. He can see what is happening in the spirit and wants to stop/block the effect by distracting me, so he tries to give me a suggestion, a terrible trick. GOD forbids that I should obey him! Wasn’t it a suggestion he gave to Adam and Eve to make them lose the connection with GOD? Oh no devil, you have failed. I am loving this beautiful fellowship with the Father and I am not turning back just so you can understand and act as a barrier.
Daniel 10:12-14 “Then he said to me, ‘Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia, and came to make you understand what is to happen to your people in the latter days. For the vision is for days yet to come.” ESV Bible
All these times, I continue to speak in the Holy Spirit but somehow my mind speaks these words in English! The Apostle Paul said:
1 Corinthians 14:15 “What should I do, then? I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray also with my mind; I will sing with my spirit, but I will sing also with my mind.” GNT Bible
Now the latter in the fundamental explanation that can be given is in speaking in different earthly languages. It also includes speaking in languages that angels understand. As it is, they also understand earthly languages and have their own language in the heavens too. This is different from the language only understood by the Father of Light.
This is one of the gifts I have a strong attachment for although all gifts must be desired strongly and will only be given you as the Spirit wills. Apostle Paul said to desire the best gift. It didn’t mean that one is greater than the other. It actually meant that in that scenario that you are in to the believer or unbeliever, the gift that will best be appropriate to such persons. Let us give two scenarios as the Spirit of GOD leads us, alright?
In a gathering, there is a sick young girl with her parent before the LORD in the midst of a people. The Holy Spirit is leading you to her. Scene 1: He could tell you to go to her. Hold her hands, smile and say, “Child, you are healed in JESUS name”. Instantly, she receives her healing. The gift manifested here: the gifts of healings.
Scene 2: He could say from where you are staying/standing or sitting to say “ There is a young child here. You have been sick for the past three years thinking this would be your last meeting in the gathering of GOD’s people. The LORD said to tell you He loves you and He has made you whole”. Instantly again she gets her healing. The gift manifested here: the gift of prophecy and word of wisdom. Her sickness was revealed and knowledge of how long it has been and her thoughts, the latter what is doing and as has it is, has done.
Scene 3: The Holy Spirit could also lead in to say “ In the name of JESUS, I command all sickness, all infirmities to leave all right now. Everyone with a defeat tonight, sick in your body, sick in your mind, sick in your family, sick in your business, sick in your finances, I command you demons to loose your holds and I bind you in the name of JESUS”. Instantly or as she gets home over a couple of days, she is made whole. The gifts in operation here: gift of supernatural faith.
Scene 4: The LORD JESUS may also lead him to her and say to her “ Mother, let it go! You held unforgivingness against your husband for too long. You being angry with all that he owns and does, have encouraged hate. You both own this child and your inner thoughts surely holds against this child in your vexation against him. Husband, forgive your wife too! Don’t let the devil continue to thrive against you both. You are not the only victim. This girl is neglected and unprotected. Let it go! “ Once forgiveness is complete, and they give their marriage over to JESUS or it could also be the child holding in such too. The child forgives and the devil doesn’t have a ground any more for his continued existence. He is casted out in the name of JESUS and the child and their entire family is set free.
Yes, unforgiveness can do such a damage. It is biblically proven.
Matthew 18:34-35 “And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.” KJV Bible
Learn to forgive. It is not easy so we must ask GOD for grace and live by His Spirit.
Yup! (Laughing) so the gift manifested here: Word of Knowledge, Word of Wisdom.
Also, we can have this scene 4: The girl and her parent heard about the meeting. They decided to go there and see. They heard that GOD heals and may be, just may be they have seen someone or heard about someone that GOD did it for. Hence, they decide to go but they don’t really understand the language of the preacher. GOD sees and knows so He decides He wants to speak with them right there and right then in the midst of the crowd because He loves them and know their eagerness for His help. What does my awesome Papa do?
Drum rolling, it stops!
Yep! He speaks to them in the language they understand, and what’s more easy to understand than their own language in their native dialect. Awesome and cool, right? Yes, I knew you would say that too. And how does He do it?
Through His Holy Spirit in me and you! Yes child, even you! That’s one of the demonstration of our faith as we release ourselves to Him for His work. We may not even know what we are saying. We just keep talking but there is someone, even if it is only one person who understands. It is alright to us because that one person needs to encounter Christ just as we too. One person can lead thousands to Christ.
John 4:28-39 “So the woman left her water jar and went away into town and said to the people, “Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ? They went out of the town and were coming to him.” ESV Bible
So let’s go! The minister GOD uses (you and me, lol! Come on, everything is possible through Christ, don’t wallow in unbelief) is led by the Holy Spirit! Obediently, he follows. He says things as He had said to them in our scene 3. The family hears it. And she is instantly at that spot healed. They come running to the front with joy. What do you think is going to be the reaction of both you and me, as well as all the people present when eventually we get an interpreter who interprets their testimony? Or even when GOD uses us to interpret what he has said and done? Remember, these are may just be thoughts, yet GOD does even greater than these all the time, everywhere and everyday!
So my friend, no gift is useless or more important than the other. There are gift left not put into scenes in these but I believe you get the point. We should allow ourselves to be used as He wills. Because He manifested like so, the day before or this morning does not mean He will do the same now or in the evening. The goal my friends is to be led.
Romans 8:14 “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.” ESV Bible
The gift of diversity of tongues and the other eight gifts of the Holy Spirit allows for the demonstration of GOD’s power, the authority He has given us over ‘serpents and scorpions – devils and evils”, the ministrations of angels as authorized by GOD through the believer. As we can tell, this is more beneficial to the Church and unbelievers that they may be saved than for personal development.
But the manifestation of any gift of the Spirit helps us believers to strengthen our faith in GOD, increase our dependence on GOD and make us more humble because we can’t do them even if we had wanted to if He hadn’t let us. He glorified Himself through you so that He can glorify you too. Give Him praise for being the GOD of Awesome Wonders.
Make it a goal to improve in praying in the Spirit by the asking the Holy Spirit for help to do so. Also, desire the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be made manifested through your life too. They are not only for ministerial offices. It is a blessing poured out for all believers. Walk in this light! Don’t forget the goal. JESUS said not just to some but to all; me and you too:
Matthew 5:14-16 “You are like light for the whole world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one lights a lamp and puts it under a bowl; instead it is put on the lampstand, where it gives light for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine before people, so that they will see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.” GNT Bible
See how much with our hands we have written, be bold!
“Who can fathom the Spirit of the Lord, or instruct the Lord as his counselor? Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten him, and who taught him the right way? Who was it that taught him knowledge, or showed him the path of understanding?” Isaiah 40:13-14 NIV Bible
No one can tell GOD to do without His consent nor advise Him. Though we have been given the privilege and command to ask for things for things in prayer, we do this because we have been given grace to. GOD does as He pleases.
When He wants to do something even when we don’t feel worthy of it, He deems it best by looking into our hearts above our failures and wrongs. Holy Spirit in us helps us. He helps us to judge all things and He judges all things but we can not judge Him because He is GOD and He is good and perfect. Whatever He does, we must accept with a glad heart. Yet we must always be conscious to know what the will of GOD is, so we do not ignorantly accept the plots of the devil.
When we are wrong, seek forgiveness from the LORD. Never be proud because we cannot do anything without His help especially in the place of evangelism. He leads the evangelism, we follow. We must obey Him. Disobedience to GOD’s word could make us overcomes by the world.
Hello friends! How are you doing right now? Great? Not great? We know that you have been too much to actually give up now and we are so glad that you haven’t.
This one thing will also hold true to you friends: undeniably, JESUS truly loves you! He did, He does and He also always will.
Because of this love my friend, we ask you not to give up hope! To hold on strong because JESUS says,
Jeremiah 29:11 “I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.” GNT Bible
But you don’t feel you can take it anymore someone might say. You were never meant to carry this heavy burden on your own.
Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest.” GNT Bible
Still, if you have given it over to JESUS, then we must allow these fruit of the Spirit to manifest.
Galatians 5:22-23 “But the Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. There is no law against such things as these.” GNT Bible
Being patient and holding on to a living faith. It doesn’t matter how big or small it is, as long as you keep believing in Him. That’s more than enough to receive your miracle.
Showing and walking in love with everyone rather than taking out your frustration on them and in all you do.
Keeping a lifestyle that involves praising GOD and being thankful even in difficult situations work wonders. Our Father is pleased, you are not overcome by grief and most times, the miracle is instant.
We must keep in mind that it is like the song writer wrote
“GOD is working. He’s still working. GOD is walking even now. Though we often do know just how. Yet, GOD is working. He’s still working. GOD is working even now. Hallelujah!”

There is always a light ahead of the tunnel no matter how far you might walk.
But why walk? When you can run, when you can fly by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 40:31 “But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles; they will run and not get weary; they will walk and not grow weak.” GNT Bible

Friends, we continue in your heart with these: Always remember that JESUS loves you! He proved it on the cross and what you are going through, not even the devil is strong enough to take you from Him! Stay focused, start that vision: it could be an idea, a dream, a concept, a business, a craft, an art, a script, an innovation. Stay focused on GOD’s will for your life! Be bold and not fearful because it takes courage to fly! Be diligent and dare to beat the odds!

Imagine this : Everywhere silent! Not a single sound, not a beep, not a whistle of the wind. Even graveyards aren’t that silent. Sometimes, there is a rumble of the wind, crick of insects and rattling from creeping animals. But imagine this kind, not a sound, no rattle, no rustle, no bustle, no nothing.
More than that is eternity, not the silence but the extremity. The fact that is endless and there is nothing you can do about it! Hell wasn’t in its origin made for man. It was created to punish the devil and his cohorts.
Revelations 20:10 “Then the Devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.” GNT Bible
Man as he was before holy and pure always before His presence as he continually abode in fellowship with Him. But when man sinned, submitting himself to the dictate of the devil which came in deceit as a ‘suggestion’. Man lost his fellowship with GOD and became birthed in sin.
The devil is the father of lies and evils. The wages of sin is death.
Revelations 21:8 “But cowards, traitors, perverts, murderers, the immoral, those who practice magic, those who worship idols, and all liars—the place for them is the lake burning with fire and sulfur, which is the second death” GNT Bible
Galatians 5:19-21 “Now the doings (practices) of the flesh are clear (obvious): they are immorality, impurity, indecency, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger (ill temper), selfishness, divisions (dissensions), party spirit (factions, sects with peculiar opinions, heresies), envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God”. Amplified Version
But Christ came that we may have life, life eternally. As it is where the father is, so the children are. If we live by the Spirit, we must also walk in the Spirit.
John 10:10 “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).” Amplified Version
If we take GOD as our Father, then where He is we will also be (John 14:3). Just as JESUS said and that is Heaven. But if a person lives in sin, then He knowingly or unknowingly is fathered by the devil. Hell is the place for the devil and sad to say, automatically that’s where the children belong. This is the second death as recorded in the book of the Revelations of JESUS to John.
JESUS came to save us from the grip of sin, death and destroy the works of the devil. He came to make peace between the Father of Light and us through His own self. He then gave us His Spirit so that we become alive to GOD by our spirits and have the long lost relationship back again with GOD.
Someone once said, “If I can make a man sit silently for 5mins, then I could really make him think of eternity”.
When people meet whom they truly love, they never want their affairs and relationship with them to end. They just want it to go on, and on, and on even if they happen to be repeating the same thing over and over and over again. None of that matters! In fact each time it feels like they are doing something new.
On the contrary, when people find themselves in distressing and uncomfortable situations, no one wants it to linger. We all just want it to end quickly like it never happened. Bearing these two in mind, which would rather pick? A love that goes on and on even if you keep repeating the same thing or a distressing and uncomfortable situation? But imagine being in the latter and no matter how much you want to get out, you just can’t. Now imagine that same scenario embedded in an unending situation. This time, no answer as to when it will end.
Friends, the end of the world will truly come. Perhaps it may not come while you are living on earth. JESUS said in Matthew 25:13 “And Jesus concluded, “Watch out, then, because you do not know the day or the hour.” GNT Bible
But we know this is true that immediately any man dies, he or she has had JESUS come back because it is only appointed to man to die once and then judgement. We are not making hell scare you or trying to compelling into living a life in JESUS through fear. But it is true. And though you still have a long life to live, many don’t. Remember that friend or that neighbor, loved one that is gone, he is gone and will be established his own judgement. He/she couldn’t come back even if they wanted when now faced with the reality they are in. But you, you still have a chance, a choice, hope that you could spend your reality with GOD.
Remember we told you earlier that hell wasn’t originally made for man but the devil. JESUS has paid the price to liberate us from such judgement. Stop doubting and fretting. When you have a better place prepared for you, why end it all up with the wicked one that caused you to lose it in the first place?
We pray that the LORD JESUS opens your eyes and ears right now and cause His Light to flow into your hearts and minds as He binds the works of the prince of power of air the devil and lose you from the shackles of sin and death! Hallelujah and glory to GOD. We thank GOD because He has done in the name of JESUS Christ our LORD and we see you walking in GOD’s glorious liberty with heaven becoming your mandate.
The goal is not to think of hell nor chase heaven; but to follow JESUS who is the only way that leads you to heaven. The people of the world say, “There is so many way that leads to heaven”. But we know that the way is narrow and JESUS is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No gets to the Father except through Him.
